Looking for some holiday accommodation in Cornwall? There are many places to stay nearby to the coast to coast cycle trail. As well as the historic attractions of Cornwall, there are plenty of other things to do in the surrounding area such as the trendy fishing village of St Ives, the Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Lizard Point or the famous Cornish Goldsmiths and recently renovated mineral trail.
There is an abundance of birds and wildlife and many beautiful coastal and country walks around Cornwall. The coast to coast Mineral Tramway cycle path goes right past many beautiful cottage accommodation spots and provides safe cycling for all ages.
If you want to escape from the usual tourist traps and capture some genuine local atmosphere, you really can’t do better than a trip to Cornwall for a cycling holiday. Whether you’re staying overnight or for a week, local Cornish folk will make you feel welcome and guide you to see some of the many beautiful sites of Cornwall. The Mineral Tramway area is central for West Cornwall being situated just 10 miles from Truro, 15 miles from St.Ives, 20 miles from Penzance and 15 miles from Falmouth.

- Double Trees Holiday Cottage – The property comprises of two double bedrooms, lounge room with pull-out sofa bed, dining room, fully fitted kitchen, lovely shower room & toilet and garden to the front. Accommodation can be limited in the peak season, so please book early to avoid disappointment, especially in the summer months and at Easter, which starts filling up a month or two before.
- Sparrow House – Close to the coastal villages of Portreath and Porthtowan, this is an ideal base for hikers and birdwatchers or those who just want to relax in the the handsome Cornish countryside. It is also within easy striking distance of many of Cornwall’s attractions including the famous Eden Project, St. Ives Tate gallery and countless more.
