Sessions can be tailored to suit your confidence and abilities, and are designed to improve your riding skills and enjoyment of the sport.

Superb mountain bikes are available to hire if required.

Beginner or taster sessions suit the less experienced mountain biker who wishes to develop their skills and confidence. We cover a range of fundamental skills that will lead on to more technical trail riding and bike handling. The only prerequisite is the ability to ride a bike!

Mountain biking is rapidly progressing, as new disciplines develop challenging the ideas of what is ridable. Technical advances in equipment and trail building continue to present new challenges and promote the evolution of this varied and interesting sport.

So what is mountain biking really all about?

This exhilarating sport exists in many guises ranging from endurance distance riding to free riding, jumps, drops and downhill. There really is something for everybody to get stuck into! The foundation techniques for all types of riding are similar and once established can be honed to suit your specific riding style and preference.
